Happy Canada Day

What a beautiful day today, the sun is shining and soon we will be off to a Canada Day Celebration! Lots of different events and celebrations to choose from. We are going to meet some friends for lunch shortly and then off to a fairgrounds where they have all kinds of outdoor shows and events, music galore. I think we are going to see 'Biff Naked' and a band called Fiftyfour forty! Should be some fun!
I've been keeping busy working on a 'rocketmom' holiday lens. I did this one on Christmas Stocking Traditions. It was a fun one to do! Also been creating new items for my zazzle store. Birthday designs, green designs and even a few christmas designs. Come on by for a snoop and see what's new!

Princess Party Designs

This morning was the first morning of not having to drive my son to school. He just finished his last exam, glad to have that behind him! So I must admit I did sleep in a little longer this morning, no lunch to make for him! I love that about summer! I did go to the gym this morning and had a great workout, 20 minutes of weights, 30 minutes of cardio! I'm energized and ready to do some creative work now! I want to do some writing for a squidoo lens... thinking on this one! I also want to get busy and create and draw for my zazzle store today! I did a recent lens on 'Princess Theme Birthday Parties' so I made cards, invitations, and stickers in this theme for my store also! Really cute designs for little girls! My goal today is to learn one new thing to apply to my lenses, maybe some new html, to spruce them up a little or maybe try a new module that I haven't used before. So much to do, I better get busy! 24 years... Woot!

Can't believe it's the middle of June already! The month of many weddings! Actually, my husband and I just celebrated 24 years married on the 15th of June. He took the day off work, (I was already off) and we spent the day together. First out for breakfast at a restaurant that we hadn't tried before. It was great, then we went shopping together, bought lots of fun clothes, shoes, ect. Then we went to Starbucks for coffee and snacks and came back home about 5 pm. We had some dinner and then went to the gym for a workout! It was a super day! Love my man! Anyways I thought I'd share some of my wedding items that I've created for my zazzle store. Organize Your Time

When you have several sites to maintain it can be overwhelming sometimes. This week I am trying to be more organized with my time. I am trying to spend one day working on one site and designating another day to work on a different site. One day I will spend more time writing and then set aside another day to focus on my store. It takes quite a lot of time to design and create new products so for this I need more focused time. When I block time to work on these, I can usually get more done. There is still housework, meals, and errands that have to get done too! My latest article for Squidoo that I just finished is all about my favourite pink lipsticks. Suprisingly, there are lots of lipstick fans out there! Just look under my Squidoo Lenses in the sidebar here and you can check it out! RocketMom Graduate

Well I'm proud to be among the first graduating class of the Rocketmoms! We had so much fun learning and growing together. I met some wonderful ladies! We had a great experience learning from one another. Can't wait to see who else is joining the group for the next round! It will be a fun but busy time! I've been busy creating new lens for Squidoo, the latest being a holiday lens. ( I know it must seem crazy creating Christmas items in June) I've been designing gift tags and christmas stickers for packages and gifts. Some really cute designs! Learning, Learning, Learning

It's been a crazy running around kind of day today! My youngest son (17 in a few weeks) happily just got his braces off! Yeah, after 2yrs./9months. That was a long time! His teeth look great now, nice and straight and finally he can smile again, he never liked to smile fully with those braces on!

Well I've been busy working on some new lenses, actually just finished a delightful lens featuring all of my Christmas and holiday cards that I have designed! I know Christmas is a ways away but this was a project for the rocketmoms group I belong too! I was so happy yesterday as I taught myself some html programming just enough to add a few touches to my lenses! My husband calls me his 'fearless' learner! Keeping busy designing and coming up with new and interesting ideas for my zazzle store. I've been designing some great gifts for 'Father's Day'. Pop on into my store and have a look around! Well I'm blogging while watching the finale of American Idol! It's the big night, is it Kris or Adam? I missed Tues. show so I don't know who did better or stood out the most last night! I think it's going to be pretty exciting! Anyhow, aside from this I've been learning lots of new things the last few days! Let's see I joined Flickr.com,this is a really cool photo sharing site, if you haven't heard about it you should check it out! People from all over can post their own photos and share them with others. This is so great! I added about 15 of my own photos for sharing, this allows people who may not be able to get photos of something they're interested in or need a picture of to have access. Really cool! I've been busy designing some products for my zazzle store. I went to a great park this past weekend and took about 40 photographs while wandering around! Enjoyed the ocean air and walking with my husband! While that's it for now, chat again soon!
