First Snow

Shell's Designs

Well we woke up to snow coming down this morning! We now have about 3 inches or so and it is still coming down in big flakes! I went outside to clean the snow off my vehicle and to shovel the driveway when I realized my son took the shovels with him snowboarding yesterday and is not home until tonight! So I hope I can get out of the driveway later when I have to go out! I prefer to stay home on snowdays with a nice pot of coffee and work on my zazzle designs. I think it's a good day to work on snowy designs, snowmen and winter scenes!

This is a great mug for a construction worker, handyman, project guy, handy grandpa!
A magnet for your favorite carpenter!

We'll I just found out that I may be working extra days this coming week and monday and tuesday of the following week, so I had a panic moment and thought wow, I better get my wrapping done today! We went to the Christmas concert at our church last night! It was a kids musical, they all did an awesome job, acting and singing! Brought back lots of memories of our boys in their younger years! So this morning I spent about 3 hrs. or so wrapping gifts! Glad that I am finished that! Just have a couple gifts to put together for work! Things at Zazzle have been busy, I have found that mugs with cute sayings have been a popular selling item for me! They do make great gifts for friends and co-workers ect. Pop by my zazzle store and have a peek! Just a few more days to order for gifts to arrive in time for Christmas! Shell's Designs

Shopping's Done

Shell's Designs
Well I feel a little foggy today, have a bit of a cold! So much going around out there, everywhere you go someone has a cough or cold it seems! Well I'm glad to say my Christmas shopping is done, just picked up the last of my guys stocking stuffers! I think I'll just take it easy for the rest of today and finish off my christmas cards! I don't know where the time is going! How's everyone else doing with your list, getting there I hope! :-) Yesterday I finished writing an article on Jazz music, and designed some products for those who like Jazz as well! Some I'll post here, others you can see at my store! I also finished up a few more Christmas designs that I was working on! Well that's it for today,

It looks like a wet and rainy day today! A good day to work on some designs and get some creative juices flowing! We had some friends over for dinner last night, played one of our favourite card games, Dutch Blitz, has anyone heard of it? It's been around for many years! We always have a blast with that one! We were up pretty late so we kind of slept in today, we'll my husband slept the longest, hmmm... 10:15ish, that's okay, were allowed to do that, saturdays are the only day we don't have to get up for something! Anyhow he's making me scrambled eggs and toast right now! Zazzle has a $1 shipping sale on now, any purchases over $45, great savings! Just look for the code on the site or at the checkout! Have a super day!

Tree is Decorated

Well it's been a busy few days! The house is all decorated and the tree is up! An artificial one of course! We used to have a family tradition of going to the tree farm and wandering (sometimes in the snow) through the christmas trees to cut down the perfect tree with our boys when they were younger. That tradition stopped about 4 or 5 years ago, the guys didn't want to come with us anymore, so that's when we made the move to the artificial tree! We have lots of family video for memories, on those great family outings! I've been creating design for my store, some christmas ones as well as some fun every day designs! Sweets and Dessert designs like cakes and cupcakes are some designs I came up with the last few days! We'll better get busy for now! Thanks to those who follow my blog and for your great comments! Chat again soon!

Couldn't wait

Well I started decorating today, I know I usually wait til Dec. 1st but today was such a rainy inside day and we didn't really have anything else planned so I dove in! I actually love decorating for Christmas! Even without the tree (which I will do on Dec. 1st) it looks very pretty and festive in our home! Lots of glass balls in bowls and vases and clear mini lights with greenery, I love that look! Anyhow I better get to work on some new designs, here are some that I just finished! Have an awesome day!

Winter is here
